I have had the 17 foot Machine for over a year and I have caught a bunch of Crappie with it. Light for its size, super strong and built like a tank yet sensitive. I dip brush with it. I chase roaming Crappie with it. Its always hanging off the side of my boat . I use it scouting and running guide trips and it holds up.

I use the 17′ Machine rod all the time guiding and all fishing. It’s light enough that my 6 year old grandson can handle it and strong enough to boat flip 6# catfish. It’s also very sensitive to the slightest tic! I’ve been using the same rod for 3 years with no issues and caught a lot of fish. Even my personal best crappie that I had mounted!!

I have two 17’ Ozark Machine rods. I really like the backbone that they have. Jane caught several 2lb crappie with them. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that mine still have the ceramic eyelets and they fray the line after about 20-25 fish. Other than that, they are great rods.

Super fine long pole. I have the 15’ and the sensitivity is exceptional. Great back bone able to flip those slabs in the boat no problem!!
